Invitation to Organizations and Businesses

The UGI 2011 LOC, together with the IGU, is very pleased to be able to offer substantial opportunities to business sectors and a wide range of organizations around the world to participate in this event. These organizations may be of any of the following types:

• Corporations, companies, firms and businesses, in the private sector.
• Academic organisations (universities, institutes and other training and research centers).
• Public institutions (Ministries, agencies, services, local government, among others) related to the earth sciences
• International organizations.

Those organizations and businesses which have some involvement with the fields of geography, geo-spatial data management, the environment, and the earth sciences will have at UGI 2011 an excellent opportunity to promote their products, services, projects and mission to an audience of interested specialists in the geosciences. However, the ICC is open to the participation of organisations in almost any sector that wish to share their experience.

Technical – Commercial Trade Show

UGI 2011 will feature a technical – trade show, an exhibition area of about 1,000 m2, where geoscience-related businesses and organizations will have the opportunity to make contact with conference attendees and local visitors to the exhibition who will come to see solutions and efficient applications.

"Escuela Militar del Libertador Bernardo O'Higgins" (Military School), Santiago, Chile.

Exhibitor Profile:
50 organizations and businesses, from Chilean and abroad, of the geoscience-related trades and disciplines.

Visitor Profile:
All the UGI 2011 attendees, mostly professionals of both public and private sectors, both Chilean and international, and over 3,000 three thousand local visitors are expected.
