Meeting of Chilean leaders of geography
The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of the Regional Geographic Conference UGI2011 convened the Directors and representatives of geography courses in Chilean universities to a special, unique meeting.
Invited by the LOC President, those who participated were informed of the latest news arising and tasks performed in the preparation of the conference. After the presentations given by LOC, it was agreed to participate in the activities of the Scientific Commissions of the IGU aimed at developing the conference, also to draft a document describing the situation of geography in Chile.
