The president of the Cuban Society for Geography, Lic. Enrique Rodríguez – Loeches Diez-Argüelle, was received by the Director of the Military Geographic Institute (IGM) and President of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC UGI 2011), Col. Juan Vidal G.-H., in order to discuss scientific issues and the campaign to attract participants to this event. The general scope of UGI 2011 was presented and informative material was handed over.
