Participation in the seminar of the College of Geographers

On the 29th of July 2010, the College of Geographers of Chile ran the seminar titled “The Professional Action of Geographers in Disaster Prevention in Chile” with the Military Geographic Institute (IGM) as patron and held in the IGM auditorium. The seminar was attended by people linked to geography, including leading figures and professionals from a variety of organisations, students, and special guests.

Six speakers gave technical presentations, including the Director of the IGM and President of the UGI 2011 Local Organizing Committee (LOC), Col. Juan Vidal G.-H., and also the Coordinator of LOC, Mr. Pedro Mahuzier G., who invited attendees to participate in the Regional Geographic Conference of next year.
