Successful participation of UGI 2011 LOC Expomin 2010

Between the 12th and the 16th of April 2010, the eleventh “Expomin” event was held in Santiago, Chile. Expomin is the major trade show and exhibition in Latin America for the mining industry. The President of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of the Regional Geographic Conference (UGI 2011) and the Director of the Military Geographic Institute, Colonel Juan Vidal García-Huidobro attended the inauguration ceremony, presided over by the Chilean Minister for Mining, Mr. Laurence Golborne.

 

 

LOC UGI 2011 ran a booth in the trade show and made contact with businesses specializing in the areas of GIS, Defense, Geography, Cartography, among others. Information about UGI 2011 was supplied to the general public.
